Syracuse, NY - Facing a strong opponent on the road, Oswego State battled through a challenging matchup Saturday night but ultimately fell 7-0 to Le Moyne at Elevate Fitness.

How It Happened
Le Moyne set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point. The top pairing of
Anthony Marcano and
Cole Lyons ran into a strong duo in Carlo Zucchini and Navya Verma, falling 6-0. At second doubles,
Colin Byer and
Tyler Yhun battled but came up short in a 6-1 decision, while Miguel Garcia Moreta and
Connor Tutor were edged 6-0 in the third spot.
Trailing 1-0 heading into singles play, the Lakers looked to regroup, but the Dolphins maintained control across the board. Marcano faced Zucchini at the No. 1 position and showed flashes in the second set before ultimately dropping the match 6-1, 6-1. Lyons, competing at No. 2, fell 6-2, 6-0, while Byer and Yhun were each defeated in straight sets at the third and fourth spots.

Garcia Moreta managed to push through a competitive second set at No. 5 singles but was unable to gain momentum in a 6-0, 6-1 loss. At the sixth position,
Cole Fleming also fell in straight sets as Le Moyne completed the sweep.

Men's tennis will return home Wednesday for their first home match of the spring against Nazareth starting at 4:00 PM.
