How It Happened
Kyra Pellegrino turned in a strong performance in the women's 5,000m, placing 18th overall with a time of 18:17.41.

In the women's 10,000m, Elena Gaffney led the Lakers with a seventh-place finish after crossing the line in 38:30.83, while Jessica Torrey added a solid showing of her own with a time of 41:09.22.

On the men's side, Noah Melita delivered one of the top performances in the 10,000m, finishing 12th overall in 32:54.93 — the second-fastest personal time.

Hannah Reichard, Jeffrey Simmons and Cory Morton will be in action at day two of the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
