OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego men's soccer team has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging mix of regional non-conference opponents and an eight-match SUNYAC slate as the Lakers prepare for another run at conference postseason play.

Oswego opens the exhibition portion of its schedule on Aug. 19 with a matchup against Onondaga Community College before traveling to Geneva to face Hobart on Aug. 25.

The regular season begins on Sept. 1 with a road contest against Clarkson in Potsdam. The Lakers then make their home debut on Sept. 4 when they host SUNY Poly before returning to the road to take on Utica on Sept. 7.

One of the highlights of the non-conference schedule comes on Sept. 12 when Oswego hosts RPI as part of the program's Alumni Game festivities. The Lakers continue their home schedule with a midweek contest on Sept. 16 before traveling to face perennial regional powers Ithaca and Rochester on Sept. 20 and Sept. 23, respectively.

Following another non-conference matchup on Sept. 26, the Lakers shift their focus to SUNYAC play beginning Sept. 30 when Fredonia visits Laker Turf Stadium. Conference action continues with road trips to Cortland and Plattsburgh, along with home matchups against Buffalo State, Morrisville, and Canton.

The conference schedule concludes with back-to-back road contests at Alfred State on Oct. 21 and Potsdam on Oct. 24 as the Lakers look to secure their place in the SUNYAC Tournament field.

Oswego's 2026 schedule features 17 regular-season contests, including several matchups against teams that have consistently competed for conference and regional honors. The balanced slate provides the Lakers with opportunities to test themselves early in the season while building momentum toward the SUNYAC postseason.
