OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's volleyball team has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate, the return of the Laker Classic, and an eight-match SUNYAC schedule as the Lakers look to build toward another conference championship appearance.

The Lakers begin preparations for the season with a scrimmage at Utica on Aug. 30 before officially opening the regular season at the William Smith Tournament in Geneva. Oswego will face Geneseo on Sept. 4 before taking on nationally ranked Wesleyan and host William Smith on Sept. 5.

The following weekend presents another difficult early-season challenge as the Lakers travel to Saratoga Springs for the Skidmore Invitational. Oswego is scheduled to face nationally respected programs Williams and Middlebury before closing the weekend against host Skidmore.

Oswego returns home on Sept. 18-19 to host the annual Laker Classic in Laker Hall. The tournament weekend will include Parents Day festivities on Sept. 19 as the Lakers welcome Clarkson, Alfred, Bard, and Utica.

The non-conference schedule continues with matches against Muhlenberg and Alvernia in Allentown, Pennsylvania, before Oswego hosts SUNY Poly on Sept. 29 and travels to SUNY Canton (non-conference) on Oct. 3.

SUNYAC play begins on Oct. 9 with a road contest at Fredonia. The Lakers' conference home opener follows on Oct. 14 when Morrisville visits Laker Hall. Oswego's conference schedule also includes matchups against Cortland, Delhi, Oneonta, Plattsburgh, Cobleskill, Alfred State, and Buffalo State.

A pivotal stretch arrives in late October as the Lakers travel to Delhi and Oneonta on consecutive days before closing the home portion of the schedule with matches against Plattsburgh and Cobleskill. Senior Day festivities will be held on Oct. 31 prior to the Lakers' matchup with Cobleskill.

Oswego wraps up conference action with a road match at Alfred State on Nov. 4 before concluding the regular season at home against Buffalo State on Nov. 7.
