Canton, N.Y. — The Lakers hit the road to take on St Lawrence in another competitive non-conference clash. The Lakers ultimately fell to the Saints by a final score of 2-0.

How it Happened
SUNY Oswego opened the first half with early pressure, earning two corner kicks in the first eight minutes and getting a
Kaylee Elliot shot saved at 3:35. St. Lawrence went ahead 1-0 on Zoe Rogan's 12:39 goal from Chloe Bourque, and the Lakers answered with three more shots before halftime, including
Kyla Sustad's saved attempt at 28:39. The half ended with SUNY Oswego trailing 1-0.
The Lakers stayed within 1-0 for most of the second half as
Lucy Starzyk made five saves, including stops in the 47th, 49th, 54th and 83rd minutes. SUNY Oswego created chances of its own, with Sustad and
Julia Carter putting shots on frame before a late corner led to
Liliana De Collibus' attempt wide left. St. Lawrence added a Maddie Needham goal in the 85th minute and the Lakers fell 2-0.
Starzyk recorded six saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal. Sustad led SUNY Oswego with five shots and put two on goal. Carter added three shots, including two on frame.
