How it Happened
Doubles play is where competition was fiercest over the course of the match this evening. The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches were won at 6-4 and 6-3 respectively, with the No. 3 duo of Avery Borman and Aubrey Salati being pushed to the limits but still emerging with a 7-5 win.
 
Singles play saw more Laker dominance, with all but the No. 5 match being won in straight sets. Avery Borman managed to capture her first set with a gritty win at 8-6, before closing it out at 6-1. The No. 5 singles player, Kate Hayes, lost her first set 2-6, but was able to make a comeback with 2 back-to-back set wins at 7-5, and a night-high score of 10-7.
