Megan Ahern was hired as the Women's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach in August of 2019.
She came to Oswego from King's College, where she joined the women's ice hockey team for its inaugural 2017-18 season. Ahern is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.
Ahern was a four-year player at Hamilton, which competes in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), which is regarded as one of the top academic/athletic conferences in the nation.
As a forward. Ahern played in 99 career games and scored 38 points on 13 goals and 25 assists. As a senior in 2016-17, she played in 25 games and tallied 14 points on 4 goals and 10 assists. As a junior, she registered 11 points on 4 goals and 7 assists.
Ahern is a native of Oswego, NY and is a cum laude graduate of college preparatory boarding school, the Millbrook School.
