Oswego State Athletics

Adeline Benjamin comes to SUNY Oswego from Onondaga Community College where she worked as the Head Athletic Trainer and was the primary provider for all 17 of their NJCAA DIII athletic teams. Benjamin also helped guide the ESports and Women’s Soccer teams to compete in their respective National tournaments in 2023. 

Before OCC, Benjamin started her career working for Upstate Orthopedics in their Bone & Joint Center in addition to providing outreach athletic training services to Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School. During this time, her responsibilities included casting and bracing a variety of injuries, as well as acting as the first athletic trainer Bishop Grimes had ever had. 

Benjamin received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Mercyhurst University. She is currently getting her Masters from Pennsylvania Western University - California in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with dual concentrations in Rehabilitation Science and Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention. She is projected to graduate in 2024.

Benjamin is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification with a New York State license. She is also a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Association of Sports Medicine, and a Certified Speed Specialist level II through the National Association of Speed and Explosion.

Benjamin is originally from Oswego, NY and currently lives in Liverpool, NY with her partner Cassie and bichon puppy Oliver.
