freshman Katie Bott (Camillus, N.Y.) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 1, 2011.

Freshman track athlete Katie Bott earned a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a school-record and ECAC-qualifying time of 58.95 seconds at the Raider Open hosted by Roberts Wesleyan in Rochester on Saturday. Bott bettered the record time she set last week, which was 60.64 seconds. Her time of 58.95 is the second-fastest time in the SUNYAC this season.
