The senior goalie for the men's ice hockey team kept the Lakers close on Friday night against ninth ranked Utica, making 30 saves in the game. The only goal scored in the third period was an empty-netter, with Hare having made 11 saves in the stanza to keep the Lakers within one. On Saturday, Hare registered a season-high 44 saves against fourth-ranked Hobart to hand the Statesmen their first loss of the season. The Laker goalie kept Hobart off the scoreboard for the game’s first 58 minutes. In overtime, he made three stops before the Lakers were able to net the game-winner.
