OSWEGO, N.Y. - Brody Magro of the men's soccer team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on OCtober 19, 2014.

The sophomore helped lift the team to a win in their first game of the weekend against SUNYAC opponent Geneseo.

Just 16:09 into a game on the road, Nick Zingaro was able to find Magro in the middle of the box for a header that beat the keeper. The goal was eventually the game winner as the Lakers won 1-0 against the Knights.

The goal is Magro's second on the year and his first since the opening game of the season. 

Men's soccer will back in action again for their final game of SUNYAC play on 1 p.m. this Saturday for a road game against Cortland.
