OSWEGO, N.Y. - Alli Ulrich of the women's tennis team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sept. 27, 2015.
Ulrich recorded four victories over the course of the week, leading the Lakers to a 2-1 record.
The junior scored a second-singles win, 7-5, 6-3, against St. John Fisher College before partnering with teammate Alicia Kreamer to win first-doubles 9-7. Ulrich continued to play well against Fredonia, recording a quick third-singles win 6-0, 6-2. She would again team up with Kreamer to win 8-5 at doubles in the team's final home match of the fall.
The Lakers will head on the road for three-straight matches starting with the Elmira Soaring Eagles on Tuesday beginning at 4 p.m. It will then make trips to Plattsburgh and Alfred for Friday and Sunday matches, respectively.
