Stephanie Noga of the women’s swimming and diving team was named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 6.
During Saturday’s meet versus Clarkson University, the junior helped the Lakers to victory scoring 22 solo points for the team, in their 161-78 victory.
In the 1000-yard freestyle, Noga finished in first place defeating her opponents by 46 seconds. The Oriskany, N.Y. native, also dominated in the 500-yard freestyle winning the event by nearly 10 seconds. In Noga’s third event, the 200-yard freestyle, she placed in second, finishing less than a second behind the winning swimmer.
Women’s swimming and diving returns to the pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday as they host Alfred State at Laker Pool.
