OSWEGO, N.Y. – Kieran Finnegan – of the baseball team – has been named Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending May 2.

Finnegan held Fredonia to two runs over six innings while striking out six in a 9-2 victory on Saturday.  For the season, the West Nyack native is 4-0 and leads the Oswego starters in wins (4), strikeouts (21), earned run average (2.25) and WHIP (.88).

The baseball team is slated for action Tuesday at 1 p.m. when they host Clarkson in doubleheader action at the Laker Baseball Field.
