Dean, a sophomore, captured three events in the Lakers’ 163-117 dual meet victory at SUNY Brockport, helping the Oswego State women’s swim team remain undefeated. Dean set a pool and school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.92, surpassing the old school record of 1:57.33. Dean also won the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.37). She swam exhibition in the 200-yard individual medley but posted the best time of all competitors for the event (2:18.65).

Dean, a zoology major, is the daughter of Patti Dean of Lansing.
