Oswego State senior women's tennis player Tiarra Garrow (Morrisonville, N.Y./National Sports Academy) took second place in the #1 singles flight at the SUNY Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Championships on Sunday. She defeated Loraine Jelinek of Cortland by the score of 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 and Stephanie Schara of New Paltz 6-4, 7-6 (2) before falling to Monica Vieth of Geneseo 6-2, 6-3. Garrow has won eight of her last 10 matches.
