Oswego, NY: The Oswego State volleyball team was swept by visiting St. John Fisher in three straight games on Wednesday, September 15th at Laker Hall.
The Cardinals won the match by the scores of 30-27, 30-12 and 30-25 to even their record at 3-3. The loss knocked the Lakers to 1-7.
Heidi Armstrong (Solvay) led the Lakers with nine kills, while Holly Richer had (Clay) had 16 digs. Amanda McManus (Solvay) directed the offense with 12 assists and Nikki Gurski (East Amherst) added six.
Kristi Pallotta (Liverpool) paced St. John Fisher as the hitter recorded nine kills and added 17 digs. Colleen Kiser (Hamburg) also had a balanced match as she collected eight kills and 13 digs. Freshman Hannah Cordes (Manlius) posted a match-high 26 assists.
Oswego State returns this weekend competing in the Union College Invitational.
