The Oswego State men's soccer team kicked off its SUNY Athletic Conference schedule by finishing in a scoreless tie with visiting Geneseo on Friday, Sept. 24, at the South Athletic Complex.

The Lakers are now 3-4-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the conference, while the Blue Knights are 4-2-1 and 1-1-1 in the SUNYAC.

Oswego State goalie John Spuhler (Fulton) made eight saves in 110 minutes, while Geneseo's Chris Stock (Penfield) made one.

The Lakers will be right back in action on Saturday, Sept. 25, hosting Brockport at 1 p.m.
