The Oswego State volleyball team defeated Utica in three games on Wednesday at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego. Game scores were 30-17, 30-13, 30-21.

Heidi Armstrong led the Lakers with 15 kills and just three hitting errors in 22 attempts. She also had five digs and three total blocks. Breanne Scholla added 14 kills, six aces, five digs, and three total blocks. Setter Shannon Hennigan had 36 assists and three aces.

Prior to the match, Oswego State honored graduating seniors Patty Dingman and Shara Dowd.

The Lakers are now 18-10 on the season and will compete in the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play this weekend.
