Samantha Driscoll's scoring down the stretch led the Oswego State women's basketball team to a 68-66 overtime win against Brockport in the SUNYAC semifinals on Friday night at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
Driscoll's layup with 23 seconds left in regulation forced overtime and she scored four of the Lakers' seven points in the extra session to send Oswego State to Saturday's championship game at 4 p.m.
Driscoll finished the game with 15 points on 6-of-20 field-goal shooting but she made the shots when they mattered. Lacey Kimpland and Sarah Lombard each had 12 points for Oswego State and Jessica Tremblay had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lakers shot just 17 percent from the field in the second half and 30 percent for the game, but forced 23 Brockport turnovers. Katie Marcella scored 18 points for Brockport to lead all scorers.
Oswego State is now 20-6 on the year and Brockport fell to 14-12 with the loss.
