The Oswego State softball team lost both games of a double-header against Plattsburgh on Saturday in Oswego. The Cardinals won the first game 12-1 in five innings. Plattsburgh won the second game 8-1.

Plattsburgh 12, Oswego State 1

Plattsburgh broke through for seven runs in the second inning. Six of those runs were unearned and scored after there were two outs in the inning. The Oswego State run came in the bottom of the second when Missy Constanza doubled and scored on a ground out.

Plattsburgh 8, Oswego State 1

Sarah Castaldo's home run in the top of the third was the only Laker run. Plattsburgh scored five runs in the fifth to extend the lead to 7-1.

Oswego State is now 3-9 overall and 1-3 in SUNYAC play. Plattsburgh is 14-6 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
