Sarah Castaldo's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning drove in
Missy Constanza with the winning run as the Lakers earned a split of a doubleheader with a 5-3 win in the second game of two at St. John Fisher on Wednesday. The host Cardinals won the first game 5-0.

With the game tied in the top of the eighth, Constanza was placed on second under the tiebreaker rules. Castaldo wasted no time in delivering the go-ahead run as she led off the inning with a single. She came in to score on a fielder's choice later in the inning.
Castaldo finished the game as Oswego State's leading hitter going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Britanee Eckhard also went 2-for-4 at the plate. Heather McBride pitched all eight innings for the Lakers, allowing three runs on five hits.
