The Oswego State men's soccer team lost 4-1 to Hamilton College on Saturday in Oswego.
Pat Hurley scored the lone goal for the Lakers on an assist from
Mike Roorda.
Hamilton's Ian Hildebrand led the Continentals with two goals and an assist. Both of his goals came in the final five minutes of the game to clinch the victory. Hildebrand's assist on Greg Rogan's goal in the 79th minute gave Hamilton a 2-0 lead.
Oswego State and Hamilton remained scoreless for more than 66 minutes before the Continentals' Topher Breedlove broke the tie on a penalty kick. Rogan's goal pushed the lead to 2-0 before Hurley got Oswego State on the board.
The Lakers fell to 3-3-0 on the season as Hamilton improved to 2-1-1. Oswego Sate returns to action Tuesday at Wells College and returns home next weekend to begin SUNYAC play. The Lakers host New Paltz on Friday and SUNYIT on Saturday.
