Led by 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting by junior forward
Sarah Lombard, the Oswego State women's basketball team defeated Fredonia 67-55 on Friday night at Fredonia.

The Lakers built a 14-point halftime lead and had four players score in double figures. In addition to Lombard's 17,
Lacey Kimpland added 14,
Kelly Mraz scored 13, and
Samantha Driscoll scored 10 points. Lombard also had 12 rebounds in the game, and Mraz had six assists and three steals.</p>

Fredonia's Cheryl Kindzia scored 18 points, and Lisa Gentile and Maria Scaffidi had nine points each.</p>

With their ninth consecutive win, Oswego State improved to 10-2 overall and remained undefeated in conference play with a 4-0 record. Fredonia fell to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in SUNYAC games.</p>

The Lakers will remain in Western New York and take on the Buffalo State Bengals on Saturday at 2 p.m.</p>
