The Oswego State men's soccer team lost 4-1 at Fredonia on Friday afternoon.

Oswego State trailed 3-0 at halftime despite outshooting the Blue Devils over the first 45 minutes. Fredonia scored in the 25th minute as Trevor Ianni played a through ball to Peter Dagel who scored from close range. It was his third goal of the season.

Fredonia's Sam Stewart then scored twice in a span of 2:07 to extend the Blue Devils' lead to 3-0.

Stephen Ahern scored in the second half for Fredonia, and Oswego State's Mark Periera scored on an assist from Ryan Aman in the 87th minute. It was the first collegiate goal for Periera.

Oswego State is now 6-6-1 on the season and 3-3-0 in SUNYAC play. The Lakers will play at Buffalo State on Saturday afternoon.
