The Oswego State men's soccer team lost 5-1 to the nationally-ranked University of Rochester Yellowjackets in the second game of the Flower City Classic, hosted by U of R at Fauver Stadium.
Rochester built a 3-0 lead in the first half and added two more goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to take a commanding lead. The Lakers pulled one back as Chris Carra scored on an assist from Mark Pereira in the 72nd minute.
Two goalies saw action for Oswego State, as Shaun Sessa had five saves and allowed five goals. Nick Liberati played the last 30 minutes of the game and had two saves.
The Lakers are 0-2 on the season. They lost the opening game of the Flower City Classic 1-0 to St. John Fisher on Friday afternoon.
