The Oswego State women's basketball team rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit and defeated visiting St. John Fisher 83-73 on Wednesday night in an ECAC Upstate Tournament first-round game at Max Ziel Gymnasium in Oswego.
Sam Driscoll scored 28 points to lead the Lakers, including five 3-pointers and an 11-for-11 night at the free throw line. Jessica Collins had 16 points and seven rebounds and Alaina Hannahs scored 11 points with 10 rebounds.
St. John Fisher was led by 22 points and 15 rebounds from Allison Boehm. Mary Kate Comfort added 12 points and Colleen Maloney scored 10.
The Lakers outscored St. John Fisher 53-33 in the second half, and held the Cardinals to 37 percent shooting in the game.
Oswego State is now 15-11 overall and advances to the tournament semifinals against Cortland on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Oneonta. St. John Fisher closed its season with a 13-14 record.
