The Oswego State men's soccer team gave up a goal 10 minutes into the second half at Potsdam to fall to 0-3-0 in SUNYAC play.
Eduardo Figero scored the game winner for the Bears (4-4-2, 1-0-2 SUNYAC), who outshot the Lakers, 16-11, in the game. The Bears also had more shots on goal, winning that battle 5-3.
The Lakers (5-4-0) have yet to score a goal in conference action this season, while
P.J. Goodwin (Jr., Baldwinsville, N.Y.) made four saves in the loss.
Oswego State did have six corner kicks in the game and four different players were able to take a pair of shots in the game, but none led to goals for the visitors.
Oswego State continues its weekend trip on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at Plattesburgh, who improved to 9-0-1 with a 3-0 win over Cortland on Friday. The Cardinals are ranked No. 13 in the latest NSCAA national Division III poll.
