GENESEO, N.Y. - The Oswego State volleyball team (6-7, 0-1 SUNYAC) opened conference pool play on Friday with a straight-set loss to Fredonia by the scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-8.

Chelsea Crump (Sr., Sandy Creek, N.Y.) led the offensive attack with six kills, while Sabrina Sutton (Jr., Fulton, N.Y.) added 13 digs and four kills. Meaghan Puff (Jr., Newfane, N.Y.) also posted three kills and 11 digs.

The Lakers face Buffalo State and Brockport tomorrow at Geneseo to wrap up the first round of league competition.
