BOX SCOREFREDONIA, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team tied SUNY Fredonia 1-1 in a double overtime battle on Saturday.
Oswego took five shots in the first half, but neither team was able to score until
Mike Naab scored the first goal of the game at 72:40.
Fredonia answered at 79:07, with the goal coming from Mike Biggane.
The Lakers attempted four more shots in the game. Three shots came in overtime, two coming from
Patrick Sprague and one off of
Zack Saccocio.
In total, Oswego outshot Fredonia 17-13. Oswego goalkeeper
Todd Lawson out-saved Fredonia 4-3 in the game.
The Lakers return home next weekend when they take on SUNY Brockport at 3 p.m. on Friday.
