Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team was unable to hold off SUNY Plattsburgh Friday, as the Lakers fell to the Cardinals 2-0.
Goalie
Jon Runge made a save before Plattburgh's Alexis Archilla scored a goal off a header at 2:38.
The Cardinals scored again in the second half in the 72nd minute off another header goal, this time coming from Nick Economou.
The Lakers were able to get three shots off in the game, two from Zach Saccocio and one from
Mike Naab.
Runge completed the game, stopping six Plattsburgh attempts.
Oswego is back in action at 1 p.m. on Saturday when they take on SUNY Potsdam in another SUNYAC game.
