OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State athletics prepares for yet another busy weekend, during which six teams compete.

Women's tennis kicks off the weekend festivities with the SUNYAC Championship in Binghamton, N.Y. The third-seeded Lakers take a 4-8 record into the competition, drawing No. 2 Cortland for the first match at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. With a win, the Lakers would play the winner of Geneseo and Plattsburgh at 11 a.m. If Oswego falls to Cortland, it would face the loser between the Knights and Cardinals at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

At 5-4-2 and still unbeaten in conference play (2-0-2), women's soccer will head to Fredonia to face off at 4 p.m. on Friday before traveling to Buffalo State for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday.

Following a 2-0 loss against Plattsburgh, men's soccer will host two more conference matchups this weekend. The Lakers take a 1-2-1 conference record into the weekend when they battle Fredonia at 4 p.m. on Friday and Buffalo State for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday. The game against Buff State is also a #STAYCLASSYLAKERS event, so tweet a picture of the action @OswegoAthletics with that hashtag for a chance to win prizes!

Having won its last four contests, the volleyball team will take its 2-1 conference mark into SUNYAC Pool Play at Cortland. Oswego will play its first contest against Potsdam at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will turn around and play two matches on Saturday when they clash with Oneonta at 12:30 p.m. and Cortland at 3 p.m.

Men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Clinton, N.Y. to participate in the Hamilton College Invitational over the weekend. Races begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
