OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team fell to New Paltz 150-53 at home on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the team's record drops to 1-4 on the season.
Senior
Sabia Filiaci led all Lakers in points with 13. Filiaci placed first in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 59.62 and earning the team nine points in the process. She also nabbed 2 points in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Natalie Brophy contributed nine points on the day, four of which came from a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke.
Emily Burton pitched in as well, earning four points in both the 1000-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.
Women's swimming and diving returns to the pool at 1 p.m. this Saturday when they travel to Brockport for a dual meet.
