OSWEGO 13, SALISBURY 3:
Oswego scored seven runs in the game's first three innings and never looked back, slugging its way into the winner's circle. The season began with a

Myles Kutscher was also on the base paths for Dellicarri's double, giving the Lakers an early 2-0 edge. The Seagulls would even the game with two runs of its own in the bottom of one, but
Lukas Olsson's first-career home run in his first-career at-bat gave Oswego a 4-2 advantage – an advantage it would never relinquish.
Randall led the way with a 4-for-4 outing at the dish with two walks, giving way to two runs scored and two RBI. In the eighth, Randall drove in his two runs with a homer to right field. Joining Olsson and Randall with a dinger was
John Barnes, touching them all in the fourth with Dellicarri on base. Dellicarri went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in and the aforementioned run scored.

On the mound,
Tim Cronin earned the victory in the start, throwing five innings of seven-hit ball with three strikeouts and just three earned runs allowed. In reliefe,

Matt Zakala finished the final inning, facing four batters and not allowing a hit.
SALISBURY 13, OSWEGO 12:
In a back-and-forth matchup, Oswego seemed poised to sweep the Seagulls, scoring four runs in the top of nine to hold a 12-8 lead into the home team's final at-bat. The Seagulls stunned the Lakers with a comeback, however, pulling to within one run with a runner on base when Jay Perry sent a ball over the fence for a walk-off 13-12 victory.
Oswego trailed 5-2 in the fifth-inning until preseason All-American
Eric Hamilton stepped up with the bases juiced. Hamilton smashed over the right field fence to drive in his three teammates and touch them all for 6-5 Laker lead.
Barnes homered for the second time on Saturday in the fourth inning in two-run fashion, also gaining a Laker lead at the time, 2-1.
Barnes and Hamilton were the two Lakers with multiple-hit and multiple-RBI efforts. The former went 2-for-4 with two RBI while the latter went 3-for-5 with four RBI. Randall did reach base four times in the contest, drawing four walks and scoring twice.
