Christian Gramuglia won his second-consecutive tournament title and three other Lakers finished in the top-six in a field of 12 college teams at the Ned McGinley Tournament hosted by King's College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gramuglia won bouts in a variety of ways with a pair of falls, one decision, and one medical forfeit on his way to the 165-pound title.
- At 184, Aidan Mathews won a pair of matches by fall and forced a medical forfeit before losing a 6-2 decision to the top seed in the semifinal.
- Mathews would win the consolation by fall (4:53) and end up placing third in his bracket.
- Teammate Isaac Mathews came into the 174-pound bracket seeded fifth and won his opening bout by fall (4:37).
- He would drop an 8-3 decision before winning his next three by scores of 5-1, 12-3 (Major Decision) and 8-5 to finish in fifth.
- Freshman John DeConno had a solid day with a 14-4 major decision in his opener and then won by fall (5:25) against the five-seed and decision (9-4) versus the four-seed.
- DeConno would place sixth after decision losses to the top-seed and in his final two matchups.
- At 133, William Hardin II split results with decision wins of 20-15 and 7-3 and setbacks of 7-3 and 9-7.
