ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Oswego State wrestling team had four wrestlers place among the top six, led by
William Hardin II's runner up finish at the 133-pound weight class, to finish in seventh place among fifteen teams at the 54
th Annual RIT Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hardin II was the top finisher for the Lakers as he won his first four matchups with a fall (5:33), major decision (23-9) and two decisions (4-3, 7-5) before a 16-6 major setback in the final put him one step down on the podium.
- Fifth-seeded Charlie Grygas earned a place in the semifinals with a 20-4 technical fall victory and a 5-4 decision over fourth seed Luke Reicosky of John Carroll. He lost a 6-0 decision to D3Wrestle.com's second ranked wrestler, Dempsey King, from RIT.
- Grygas finished third with a 13-10 decision over second seed Tyler Marsh of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
- Junior Isaac Mathews went 4-2 on the day with all four wins by decision (14-7, 5-3, 8-7 and 4-3) to place fifth.
- Freshman John DeConno scored a pair of falls (4:36, 5:57) and a major decision (19-8) around a 7-5 decision setback before retiring with an injury at the 125-pound weight class to finish in sixth.
- Caleb Beach (9-3, 9-7 decisions), Colby Harblin (fall 6:23, 11-3 major decision) and Kaleb Carreon (tech. fall 16-0, 7-0 decision) all won a pair of bouts on the day.
- Logan Lauck (fall 4:22), Nicolai Celestain (4-1 decision), Josh Bressette (6-0 decision) and Christopher Serafini (fall 1:44) all won matches on the afternoon to add to the team score.
WHAT'S NEXT
The team finishes the fall semester with a tri-match at Ithaca College on December 14 starting at 12 p.m. along with Jamestown Community College.
