LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Oswego State baseball team claimed a pair of conference games in Sunday's double header with the Plattsburgh Cardinals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1:

The Lakers opened up the scoring in the first inning, tallying four runs. Juniors Lukas Olsson and Casey Gruarin each recorded a hit and two RBI in the inning.

The scoring continued in the second inning off the bat of sophomore Ryan Enos, driving in one Laker while a passed ball allowed Mike Dellicarri to score.

Off a sacrifice fly, Gruarin would bat in another Laker in the third inning. Graurin would finish with three of the six RBI for the Lakers.

Senior Nick Demarco finished with five-innings pitched and seven strikeouts.
Game 2:

Oswego would open up the scoring again in the first inning off a three-run homer from Lukas Olsson.

Throughout the third and the fourth inning, the Lakers would put up another nine runs to extend the lead to 12.

Sophomore Myles Felton would finish 2-for-4 with a single, a double and two RBI.

Senior Brandon Nicholson finished the game with a triple and three RBI.

Lakers starter Brian Nolan pitched five innings and recorded seven strikeouts. The Laker pitchers would finish the game with a combined 12 strikeouts.

The Lakers will look to extend their win streak at 11 a.m. on Tuesday as they face the Western New England Golden Bears.
