HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Oswego State men's tennis team opened its spring break trip with a win over Buena Vista University on Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lakers were dominant in doubles, with the pairing of Vlad Djuraskovic and Brian Emigholz winning their first doubles match 8-7.
• At second doubles, Christopher Gayvert and Anthony Salerno defeated their opponents by a two-point margin (8-6).
• Rounding out the doubles success in the third-spot, Alex Mintz and Curtis Farmer downed their opposition 8-4.
• Farmer was also victorious at fifth singles, beating the Beavers' Aaron Mumm in two sets (6-4, 6-3).
• Also finding success in singles was Gayvert (6-1, 7-6) and Emigholz (6-2, 6-4).
