HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Oswego State men's tennis team dropped a tough 8-1 meeting with the Stevenson University Mustangs on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vlad Djuraskovic battled hard at first singles to earn the Lakers' lone victory, defeating his opponent in a forced third set (6-4, 4-6, 10-7).
- Djuraskovic looked to own the squads' second victory as well, pairing with Brian Emigholz in first doubles. The duo dropped an incredibly close 8-7 match to the Mustangs' Drew Ryan and Ray McDermott.
- Sophomore Curtis Farmer challenged his fifth singles partner, recording three points in the first set before ultimately falling by five in the second (6-3, 6-1).
- Mirroring Farmer's efforts, Daniel Maslowski dropped his sixth singles meeting 6-3, 6-1.

The Lakers return to action in Hilton Head Island, S.C., as they take on Edgewood University in a 12 p.m. meeting on Wednesday.
