FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's lacrosse team returned to the winning column, downing conference competitor Fredonia 23-3 on the road.
Teresa Shattuck lead the Laker offense in points, while several others collected multiple goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego came out of the gates scoring, recording eight unanswered goals, its ninth at 10:19 was matched with a Blue Devils tally 50 seconds later. Kassidy Myers, who had a four-goal outing, recorded two of her tallies in the nine goal span.
- Much like Myers, Toni Laneve recorded three of her four goals in the opening 20 minutes, owning the game-opening goal at 25:37, assisted by Shattuck. The senior's fourth and final goal game early into the third period, extending her squad's lead to 18-2 with 20 minutes remaining in the contest.
- Shattuck had another impressive outing, dishing out seven helpers throughout the duration of the game, for a team-high seven points.
- Much like Myers and Laneve, Molly Beck also collected four goals in the victory. Falling just a goal short of a hat trick was Kamryn Sherman, Brigid Regin, Riley Jaquin, Mckenna Chesbro and Riley LaCava, all recording two goals apiece.
- Regin owned the game-winning tally under seven minutes into the opening-half. The Syracuse, N.Y. native also contributed two assists to the stat sheet.
- Montana Garrett, like the rest of the squad, had a multiple-point game, recording a goal and three assists, while leading off the draw control with six wins.
- Elianna Sanchez spent the entire 60 minutes in goal, stopping six Fredonia shots.
- The Lakers were dominant on the stat sheet, owning advantages in shots and shots on –goal (36-11, 32-9), clears (15-7), ground balls (20-10), draw control wins (17-10) and free-position shots (7-4).
- This is the first time since April 23, 2012, when Oswego beat SUNY Canton 23-5, that the team has scored 23 goals in a single game, tying it for eighth most goals in program history.

The Lakers return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday as they host the Brockport Golden Eagles for another conference matchup.
