WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The Oswego State wrestling team split a pair of matches on the final day of the Budd Whitehill Duals. Junior
Josh Bressette led the way with a pair of major decision victories as the team fell to Williams by a score of 29-16 before defeating Wesleyan (CT), 29-19.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Williams
- The match kicked off with David Yeh of Williams scoring a technical fall (18-2) over Oswego's Daniel Fishman.
- William Hardin II evened the match with his own technical-fall victory (16-0) at 133.
- Joseph Rossetti scored a fall (1:37) over Nicolai Celestain of Oswego at 141.
- At 149, Josh Bressette pulled Oswego to within a point with a major decision (9-1) win.
- Yo Akiyama of Williams recorded a technical fall (18-3) over Caleb Beach at 157 to make the score 16-9.
- Charlie Grygas (major decision, 12-3) and Isaac Mathews (decision, 6-4) continued their strong performances during the weekend to pull Oswego even at 16-16.
- Williams would score a major decision, decision and fall to pull away from the Lakers in the final three bouts to claim the victory.
Wesleyan (CT)
- In the win over Wesleyan, Bressette (12-4) and freshman Colby Harblin (11-2) recorded major decisions to lead Oswego.
- Hardin added points at 133 by way of a 10-8 decision.
- Grygas, Aidan Mathews and Beach all won their weight classes by forfeit.
