Jeremiah Sparks set a new career-high with 32 points and senior
Joe Sullivan scored all 22 of his points in the second half to lead the Lakers to an 85-79 victory over Moravian College in the Steel Club Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sparks (13) and senior Brandan Gartland (11) each hit double digits in points in the first half to rally Oswego from a nine-point deficit in the early going.
- The Greyhounds took a 15-6 lead just seven minutes into the game.
- Oswego countered with a 13-4 run over the next four minutes behind five each from Sparks and Gartland to tie the score at 19-19.
- In the final seven minutes of the half, Moravian started a 5-0 run before a 9-1 Oswego run gave the Lakers a 28-25 lead heading into the break.
- Behind nine points from Sullivan, Oswego continued its hot start to second halves this season by pushing out to a 14-point lead at 53-39 with 13:06 remaining in the contest.
- Over the next four and a half minutes, Moravian grabbed momentum with a 17-4 run that cut the Laker lead to 57-56 with 8:27 left to go.
- Oswego pushed the lead back out to six before an 8-0 run by the Greyhounds gave them their first lead of the second half at 64-62 with 4:32 on the clock.
- After two ties and three lead changes, Sparks hit a three and Sullivan made a pair of pivotal layups to give the Lakers the late game separation they needed.
- In the contest, Oswego shot a ridiculous 37-of-38 (97.4%) from the free-throw line as a team.
- Gartland finished with 15 points while freshman Kaleb Cook (4) and sophomore Hunter Cole (2) scored crucial points late in the contest to help secure the win.
- It was a tale of two halves with the teams scoring 28 and 25, respectively, in the first half, then 57 and 54 in the second.
- Moravian is coming off a 20-9 season in 2018-19 that saw them win the Landmark Conference and advance to the second round of the NCAA Championships.
