DOVER, Del. – The Oswego State baseball team shelled Wesley College with seven homeruns on the road to earn a doubleheader sweep. Behind eight RBI from first baseman
Ryan Weiss, the Lakers won a 17-1 shortened game one and then pulled away late in the final two innings of a 13-3 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- The Lakers hit three doubles and a homerun in an eight-run first inning to take control early.
- Brandon Frank led off the game with the homerun while Weiss knocked a pair in with a double.
- In the third inning, junior Ryan Enos, senior Lukas Olsson and Weiss all homered to put five more runs on the board.
- Oswego clinched the game in the fourth when Wiess connected for a grand slam to end the contest.
- Jake Terrill (2-1) went three innings in earning the victory, allowing one earned run and striking out two.
Game 2
- In the second game, Ronald Loomis (1-0) went five innings and allowed just one run in earning the win.
- Oswego used a two-out rally to post six runs in the top of the sixth inning to break the game open.
- Senior Rocco Leone doubled in the go-ahead run, Kyle Lauria singled in a pair, and then Paul Tammaro doubled in another.
- Frank added a two-run homerun to conclude the scoring in the inning.
- The Lakers put another six-spot on the board in the top of the seventh when Lauria singled home a run and Enos walked another in.
- Olsson then hit Oswego's second grand slam of the afternoon to finalize the scoring.

Oswego will drive east to take on No. 9 Salisbury tomorrow at 12 p.m. in Maryland.
