OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the retirement of Administrative Assistant
Pamela Buske. Buske has worked for SUNY Oswego for the past thirty-three years, the last eleven with Athletics.
The Hannibal native originally joined the campus community as part of the Department of Finance, specializing in travel and remained in that post for nineteen years. After two years in the Parking Office and one in Institutional Research, she joined Athletics and was the primary contact for budgets and the department's liaison with many offices in Culkin Hall, assisting staff in the areas of hiring, recruiting, travel and equipment.
Buske is a graduate of Hannibal High School and an alumnus of SUNY Oswego, earning a degree in Business Administration in 2000. She has been married to her husband Alan for fifty-three years and the couple has three children, two granddaughters and one great grandson.
In retirement, Buske noted she will miss the staff the most but does have plans to remain with the department in a part-time capacity, continue to be one of Oswego Athletics' biggest fans along with former staff member Rhonda Taylor, while also spending time babysitting her great grandson.
The department thanks Pam for all her contributions over the years and wishes her well in her retirement.
