Oswego, NY – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association has announced their latest regional rankings for cross country.

The Lakers women's cross-country team is currently 4^th in the Niagara region after a great start to the season.

First, the women's cross-country team finished first at the Oswego invitational. The Lakers had 4 of the top 5 finishers with Kyra Pellegrino taking first in the 4k with a time of 15:24.5. The next week, at Le Moyne, the women once again took first with 4 of the 5 top finishers. Kyra Pellegrino once again finished 1^st in the 4k, this time with a time of 15:10.2. Pelelgrino has also been named the back-to-back SUNYAC Women's Runner of the week for her top
finishes.

Up next, the Lakers will head to RPI on Saturday September 26^th.
