OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Red Dragons won 10-of-16 events on both the men's and women's side in pulling away from the Oswego State men's and women's swimming and diving programs. The men fell by a 165-120 score and the women by a 159-107 tally. Senior

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Laker women's 200-yard medley relay team of Allegra Neglia, Eva Potvin, Parente and Alexia Lemus won to get Oswego the quick lead.
- Cortland would take first in the next four events before Parente earned top honors in the 200-yard butterfly with teammate Fion Hon in second.
- Parente would win the 100-yard butterfly and Keaton Maring would swim the top times in the 100-yard freestyle (57.86) and 400-yard IM (5:11.38) for the other individual event wins.
- In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Lemus, Twyla Nastasia, Neglia and Parente swam a time of 1:47.42 for top honors.
- On the men's side, Daw was dominant in freestyle events, winning the 50-yard (22.14), 100-yard (50.36) and 200-yard (1:48.79) events.
- Junior Zachary Brown was tops in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.61) and senior Nate Einstein scored nine points in the 400-yard IM (4:41.27).
- The team of Matthew Seyse, Matt Rolph, Erick Zizic and Daw won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:30.43 for the other Laker win.

The Lakers head over to Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday for a 1 p.m. meet.
