ONEONTA, N.Y.  –  The Oswego State Men's soccer team fell to the Oneonta Red Dragons in a tightly contested matchup.

Final Score: Oswego State 1 (5-7-2, 2-4-2 SUNYAC), Oneonta 2 (9-2-2, 4-2-1 SUNYAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers and Red Dragons played a tightly contested first half. Oswego would only have 2 shot attempts, with Oneonta having 7.
	 
	- 
	
Jason Wuytack would have a shot saved by Oneonta just over 8 minutes into play. 
	 
	- 
	
The Lakers defense would give the Red Dragons issues, blocking several shot attempts by Oneonta.

Matt D'Arpino would finish the first half with two saves. Oneonta would get seven shots off in the first, Oswego would have two.

Both teams would find their groove to start the second half.

Oneonta would score at the 47 minute mark, by Ethan Brunell, assisted by Lucas Fecci.

Oswego would bounce back and score a goal of their own off a corner kick. Kieran Gilroy would receive the corner and score for the Lakers at the 48 minute mark.

At the 60-minute mark, Oneonta would score the game-winning goal, this time by Lucas Fecci.

Oswego would have minimal opportunities to tie the game due to  the Red Dragon defense.
