POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State swimming & diving teams competed at the North Country Invitational in Potsdam on November 18, the first day of two days in the pool. Both the Men's and Women's teams sit fourth on the leaderboard at the end of day one.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Zachary Brown won two races during the day. He won the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 57.94. 

• Brown also won the Men's 200 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:00.20, over three seconds faster than the second place finisher.

• Emily Lotito finished second in the Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:13.36.

• The Oswego Men's quartet of Brown, William Sterling, Raymond Paull, and Matthew Seyse finished fourth in the Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 3:46.50.

• The Oswego Women also finished fourth in the Women's 400 Yard Medley Relay, with Alexia Lemus, Emily Lotito, Fion Hon, and Jayna Laferriere contributing to a time of 4:33.88 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Lakers will aim to move up the leaderboard at the North Country Invitational in Potsdam on day two Saturday November 19.
