OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Lakers men's and women's swimming & diving teams found frequent success last week at the four-day SUNYAC-AMCC swimming and diving championships at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College (ECC).
The results below are the Lakers who finished in the top three for their event!
Jayna Laferriere finished first earning gold in the women's 100 free with a time of 52.46!
Isabelle Dague earned gold in the women's 400 IM with a time of 4:43.33!
Jayna Laferriere finished 2
nd in both the women's 50 free (24.11) and the women's 200 free (1:57.10).
In the women's 200 freestyle relay, the team of
Jayna Laferriere,
Katherine Burch,
Isabella McDonald, and Mackenna Briggs finished 2
nd with a time of 1:39.77.
In the men's 800 freestyle relay, the team of
Nathan Ratta Vine, Jake Sarnowski,
Antonio Medina and
Ryan Murphy finished 3
rd with a time of 7:06.41.
In the women's 800 freestyle relay, the team of
Jayna Laferriere, Izzy Dague,
Isabella McDonald and
Emily Seldin finished 3
rd with a time of 8:00.47.
Emily Lotito finished 3
rd overall in the women's 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:32.74.
Nathan Ratta Vine finished 3
rd overall in the men's 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.30.
As a team, the Lakers women's team finished third overall with 549 points and the men also finished third overall with 452.5 points.
