BUFFALO, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Buffalo for the first day of the SUNYAC-Allegheny Mountain Conference Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Men's Meet:
 
In the 200 yard medley relay, the Lakers "A" relay of Nathan Ratta Vine, Duncan Smith, Antonio Medina, and Mitchell Stevens finished 6th, with the "B" relay of Jayden Hernandez, Manav Sindhi, Jake Sarnowski, and Sam Waddell finishing 9th.
 
In the 800 yard freestyle relay, the Lakers "A" relay of Nathan Ratta Vine, Jake Sarnowski, Antonio Medina, and Ryan Murphy finished in third, each earning themselves a bronze medal.

 
Women's Meet:
 
In the 200 yard medley relay, Oswego's "A" relay of Izzy Dague, Emily Lotito, Katherine Burch, and McKenna Briggs took 4th place, and the "B" relay of Fion Hon, Aurora Jarvie, Anna Baker, and Alexia Lemus finished in 10th.
 
In the 800 yard freestyle relay, the Lakers "A" relay of Jayna LaFerriere, Bella McDonald, Izzy Dague, and Emily Seldin finished in third, also earning bronze medals for the women's team.

The Oswego State Lakers will be back in action tomorrow for a handful of events, and will continue their championship run in Buffalo until Saturday.
